Formerly known as TensGuard, tensVida beat off competition from AHD’s fiber ingredient, Luralean, as well as an antioxidant derived from a South American fern from Gourmetceuticals to win the award voted for by attendees of the show.
“This second prestigious award demonstrates tensVida’s worldwide appeal and is a result of the dedicated research, hard work and commitment of our global team,” said DSM functional foods marketing manager, Pete Willis.
The ingredient won the Gold award for most innovative new product at the Health Ingredients Europe trade show in Paris in November.
