Larex, a US supplier of functional human and animal ingredients, has received a stamp of endorsement from the American Institute of Baking (AIB) International Food Safety Auditors.
The institute has awarded the company its third consecutive 'Superior' rating for its GRAS ingredient Larch Arabinogalactan.
" We will continue to produce and provide all current and future ingredients under the highest standards required not only by our customers, but also by our employees," said Bo Nickoloff, CEO and president of Larex.
Maintaining a superior rated facility is one of the main objectives of our technical and manufacturing teams, added Richard Faulkner, vice president of manufacturing.
The nutritional ingredient - also used in personal care and bio-medical markets - is produced at the company's 20,000 square foot manufacturing facility located in Minnesota.
The compound Larch Arabinogalactan (AG), is a natural polysaccharide extracted from already harvested Larch trees.
