The European Food Safety Authority’s executive director, Catherine Geslain-Lanéelle, will outline EFSA’s objectives and strategy at a meeting with the Danish National Food Institute on November 20.

“The aim is to explain the importance EFSA is attaching to scientific co-operation in Europe and the tools EFSA is using in order to make this co-operation a reality, i.e. focal points,” EFSA said.

“The event will be an opportunity for EFSA, and all those who may have an interest in EFSA, such as the food authorities, the industry, consumers, and scientists, to meet and exchange views.”
EFSA’s director of scientific cooperation and assistance, Hubert Deluyker, will talk about scientific exchange and networks.
