Ingredia goes functional to close in on customer “expectations and activity”

French supplier has brought its added value dairy activity and functional food units under one roof – Ingredia Functional.

The protein market is heating up with analysts predicting big things for it over the next few years and Ingredia won an award for a Milk Protein Isolate (MPI) aimed at sports drinks recently. Other solutions will also be offered.

“Our wish is to be nearer to our customers’ expectations and activity,” Ingredia said.

“Our innovative solutions are the result of years of experience in the milk's cracking and understanding of the interactions between the different functional ingredients.”

Targeted markets will include cheese, fresh dairy, bakery, beverages, chocolate and confectionery, frozen creams and desserts and savoury.
