Biofortis

Biofortis is a Contract Research Organization which performs nutritional clinical trials on humans (children and adults) in our own center with the ministry approval. To obtain scientific evidence of the nutritional benefit of your product (food, ingredient, dietary supplement) and to obtain health claim, we provide a complete organization and follow up of the clinical trial according to the European rules and Good Clinical Practices.

We determine the objective of the trial depending on your product formulation, we build up the protocol in agreement with your choice and the scientific and medical environment. We conduct the trial: organisation, start up and follow up. We write, after the data management, the clinical study report.

We take part in result valorization, write scientific papers and communications.

Our fields of expertise are: carbohydrate and lipid disorders, cardiovascular diseases, glycaemic and insulinemic index, menopause, prebiotics, probiotics, weight management, cognitives studies for stress, depression, cosmetofood.

Biofortis is also a specialized laboratory managed by Professor Jean-Marie Bard. Devoted to the study of metabolic disorders, our laboratory offers pharmaceutical and food companies a panel of sophisticated analyses in various fields like lipid and carbohydrate metabolism disorders, obesity, Inflammation, oxidative stress, bone mineralization, bowel disease.
