FiberAid™ - the premium prebiotic

FiberAid™ is classified as a prebiotic dietary fiber because it resists digestion by the enzymes of the saliva and small intestines and enters the large bowel intact, where it is fermented by bacteria to produce short chain fatty acids. These acids lower the colon pH that creating an environment favoring the growth of friendly bacteria, which has been noted to potentially reduce the risk of colon cancer. What sets FiberAid™ apart from the other prebiotics is its broad range of functionalities and physiological effects. Fermentation of FiberAid™ proceeds slowly, decreasing the side effects of gas and bloating that some other prebiotics exhibit. It is stable at low pH and ambient temperature, it has low viscosity, with no impact on color, odor, taste and mouth feel when included in foods and beverages.
