GC Rieber Oils (GCRO) was established in 1965 making it one of the most experienced large producers of refined fish oils today. Its head quarters are on the north Western coast of Norway, traditionally a center for Scandinavian ocean based industries where fish oil refining is important.

Today GCRO is a leading global supplier of marine sourced oils, covering all major qualities of omega-3 oils for nutraceutical use, such as supplements, cosmetics, animal feed and functional foods. Typical grades would be 30 % (EPA + DHA), 18/12 EPA/DHA, cod liver oils, tuna oils and salmon oils. We can supply all grades of refining like low oxidation food grade oils, cholesterol reduced oils and Kosher certified oils.

Our modern refining technologies warrant high and uniform quality with state-of-the-art cleaning technologies for environmental pollutants, cholesterol and oxidation products. We are fully approved under ISO 9001 with HACCP Certification.

With present expansions’, our refinery ranks among the largest in the world when it comes to capacity and efficiency. We have a long history of sourcing crude fish oils for our production and with our partners in North Africa and South America we are highly integrated towards the largest crude fish oil sources in the World.
