Food allergy and genetically modified (GM) crops experts as well as
other scientists, physicians, and government regulators will meet
at a later date for a workshop, "Assessment of the Allergenic
Potential of Genetically Modified Foods."

Food allergy and genetically modified (GM) crops experts as well as other scientists, physicians, and government regulators will meet at a later date for a workshop, "Assessment of the Allergenic Potential of Genetically Modified Foods."​ It was originally scheduled for September 24-26, but has been postponed. The agenda of the workshop is available at Assessment of the Allergenic Potential of Genetically Modified Foods​.The workshop is organised by the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences, one of the institutes of the National Institutes of Health, and the National Toxicology Program, which is headquartered at NIEHS, the workshop is also sponsored by the Environmental Protection Agency's Office of Research and Development; the NIH's Office of Rare Diseases, and the US Food and Drug Administration's Centre for Food Safety and Nutrition.
