It aims to cover the fundamental elements of food biotechnology regulation with an emphasis on what the future holds for genetically engineered agricultural products and other foods. Speakers from industry, government and consumer groups will examine the commercial implications of this technology for the food industry, and explore the global controversy of biotech labelling standards.
