Wyeth Consumer Healthcare has launched a new nutrition bar and will promote the brand at a series of high-profile concerts and sporting events across the US.

The new product, Centrum Performance Energy Nutrition Bar, is an extension of Wyeth's existing Centrum Performance brand of multivitamins, all of which contain high levels of certain antioxidants and B vitamins (thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, vitamin B6 and vitamin B12) plus ginseng and ginkgo biloba.The bars contain all these vitamins and minerals, as well as energy-boosting carbohydrates and protein. They come in two flavours, Chocolate Nougat and Chocolate Peanut Butter.

The promotional tour will see a Centrum Performance booth at a number of high profile sporting events and concerts in the US, and will allow consumers the chance to win prizes as well as learn more about healthy nutrition.
