Reliv International, a US manufacturer and network marketer of nutritional supplements and other food technology products, has introduced a reformulated version of its Reliv Now supplement.

One of the company's top-selling brands, the Reliv Now product offers consumers the recommended daily intake of twenty four different vitamins, minerals and nutrients, but, claims the company, with substantial reductions in calories, fat and carbohydrates when compared to the product's original formula.

Each serving of the reformulated Reliv Now contains: 40 calories, reduced from 120, 0 calories from fat, 1 gram of carbohydrates and one gram of sugar, reduced from 14.

"The reformulated Reliv NOW was received very enthusiastically by distributors at our annual conference," said Robert Montgomery, president and chief executive officer of Reliv. "They're convinced we've come up with a winner - by taking the extra calories, fat and carbohydrates out of one of our most popular products."

In addition, the reformulated product no longer uses dairy whey as an ingredient but has been replaced by soy protein.

Introduced initially in the United States, the company's largest geographic market, the new Reliv Now formulation will be launched in other markets worldwide on a rolling basis over the next several months.
