The sun shines for Zila
used in the new Sea & Ski suncare range.
Australian suncare brand Sea & Ski has launched a new product line containing US-based Zila Nutraceuticals' vitamin C concentrate.
Zila's Ester-C Topical Concentrate is a form of vitamin C designed to last in emulsions and penetrate skin layers without chemicals.
The new Sea & Ski Platinum Sunscreen and Skin Care formula was developed for maturing skin and comes in both SPF 30 and SPF 50 protection.
"The Ester-C ingredient was the best option for Sea & Ski Platinum not only because of its powerful antioxidant qualities, but also because of its stable nature," said Arthur Vallejo, product development manager at Faulding Consumer, the Australian manufacturer of Sea & Ski Suncare. "We use such a high percentage of vitamin C that its regular form would oxidize and brown our product."
Zila Nutraceuticals, one of three business units of the healthcare and biotechnology company Zila, also makes patented Ester-C branded products and Palmettx Saw Palmetto.
