Entries for the 2021 NutraIngredients Awards are open, with many new categories but the same commitment to honour the best and brightest in ingredients, finished products, companies, people, and initiatives in the dietary supplements industry.

Stand out from the crowd
Nutraingredients is a respected and trusted leader in this industry, and so winning a Nutraingredients Award is significant.
We see our finalists and winners from previous years displaying their achievement in their marketing, on their labelling and at trade shows.
Our award for 'Healthy Ageing Ingredient of the Year' in 2020 went to Naturex for their Flowens product, a full spectrum cranberry powder engineered to relieve the lower urinary tract symptoms, after judges were impressed with the level of scientific evidence to back up the product.
Dan Souza, global product manager at Naturex, recently told NutraIngredients: "We will absolutely apply for the awards again, we see the NutraIngredients Awards as a great opportunity to seek recognition for our scientifically backed ingredients."

Last year, the Nutrition Research Project recognised Game Changer: Plant Proteins for Athletes, Increnovo as a world-first wide-reaching study with a sustainable product that is highly demanded now and in the future, while Nutrigenomix’s Plant-Based Personalised Nutrition & Fitness Report went home with the Personalised Nutrition Initiative trophy.
Awarding individuals
The industry has a lot of giants - people who have built successful companies and organisations, and had a lasting impact on our health and wellness.
And our NutraChampions award shows the industry's appreciation for these figures.
NutraChampion award winners to date include Dr Bengt Jeppsson, PhD, Dr Daniel Ramon Vidal and Dr Muhammad Majeed. All three have made profound contributions to the industry. It is an honour for us to recognise these people, particularly those who have done so much, often behind-the-scenes.
The next big thing
At NutraIngredients, we're always looking for the next big thing in the industry and the trailblazing entrepreneurs that offer true innovation.
Our Start-Up category recognises those companies that are up-and-coming and are doing it the right way, building their businesses on strong science, robust partnerships and collaborations, and exemplary ethics. Previous winners include NORDIQ Nutrition® and Nutrinovate AB.
New categories
The 2021 awards have five new categories: Ingredient of the Year: Beauty from Within, Ingredient of the Year: Cognitive Function, Ingredient of the Year: Prebiotic, Product of the Year: Immune Support, and Product of the Year: Sports Nutrition. We now have 16 categories across ingredients, finished products, people, companies, and initiatives, giving everyone the chance to participate.
OUR JUDGES
Being an award finalist or winner means you’ve impressed some of the most respected and knowledgeable people in the industry and that makes your achievement even more credible. 14 categories are judged by a panel made up of independent industry experts and 2 awards are judged exclusively by the Nutraingredients editorial team.
Being crowned a winner is a newsworthy event! Finalists and then the winners are announced on Nutraingredients.com the no. 1 daily news resource for the dietary supplement industry and the articles we write about the awards put the names of our finalists and winners in front of our readership.
