The NutraIngredients Awards are back for the eighth year running and with a new category bringing the total prizes up for grabs are at 17.
The awards honour the best and brightest in ingredients, finished products, companies, people and initiatives in the nutrition and dietary supplements industry.
The big event (register here) takes place on 4 May and we are certainly set to celebrate the best of the nutrition and dietary supplements industry but don't just take our word for it, hear from a previous winner of three awards on why it is always worth submitting an entry.
French commercial-stage biotech company, TargEDys who specialise in the development of precision probiotics have won three awards in the past and would certainly recommend submitting an entry.
Nina Vinot from the TardEDys team said: "The NutraIngredients Awards are the most well-known prize in the nutraceutical industry and celebrate outstanding innovation and science.
"For us, at TargEDys, it’s a no-brainer: as the pioneers in precision probiotics, science, efficacy, and mechanism of action are what we stand for. The recognition of these efforts by two NutraIngredients Awards on Hafnia alvei, as best ingredient in the weight management category in 2019 and as best probiotic of the year in 2021, and one for L. plantarum WJL as best nutrition research project of the year 2021 mean a lot to us.
"It makes our work and products more visible to potential partners, investors and distributors internationally, and ultimately to reach more consumers across the world. It’s great that an independent panel of experts rewards the best products and best science: it brings credibility for the best players and raises the bar for the whole industry.
"As a small team, we have limited time and resources to dedicate to prospection. Several of our customers have heard about us thanks to the NutraIngredients Awards, which makes a big difference for our international expansion. We would absolutely recommend companies like us to participate!"
