If you are not healthy, you can’t perform. Sports nutrition in 2020 is much more than just performance, it is about being ready to perform – to be healthy. The gut, or our digestive system, is central to this – and potentially a central governor in more ways than one. This session will put into context the importance of gut health in sport, whilst examining the emerging evidence and the strategies that support performance.
