Cashtyn Lovan is the new Regional Marketing Director in Aker BioMarine’s Human Health & Nutrition department. She has over 10 years of marketing experience in the dietary supplement industry, including strategy and brand development, digital marketing, market research and event management.

Lovan said that Aker has seen some promising research on krill oil helping with PMS symptoms.

“We're really excited about this new category and what krill oil can do for women,” she said. “The role of women has really changed, we're becoming more confident and we are unashamed about our bodies and are talking about what's happening in our bodies–good and bad. And I think that's really what's driving the market, especially when it comes to supplements. Women are looking to be proactive about their health,” said Lovan.

“I really love this industry just because I feel like I'm doing something important and helping people's health,” she added.
