Degussa BioActives is to step up its business in the sports nutrition market and will focus on that field at two major trade shows later this year.
The German company claims to be the market leader in creatine products, and has recently developed a number of new products in the sports nutrition field which have been undergoing clinical trials, the results of which will be presented by Degussa at the Supply Side East show in the US and Vitafoods in Switzerland next month.
"In response to helping our customers' succeed, Degussa BioActives has developed innovative sports nutrition products in our three R&D centres. Clinical trials have proved that Creapure Citrate and Creapure Purovate have clear advantages over Creapure, which is already considered the single best sports nutrition product of the nineties. These next generation products have better bioavailability, solubility and taste, and most important better efficacy," the company claimed with just a touch of hyperbole.
The Degussa BioActives sales team will be present at both the trade shows next month, and will distribute samples of the new creatine products, as well as discuss ongoing R&D and provide more detailed information about the application of Degussa BioActives' products.
Degussa BioActives will be exhibiting at Supply Side East in Secaucus, New Jersey, US, from 6-8 May 2002 at booth 1600. The following week (14-16 May) it will be at Vitafoods International in Geneva, Switzerland at booth 7040 in Hall 7.
