The AdvantEdge Carb Control Nutrition Bar produced by supplement manufacturer EAS has been given two new variants - Chocolate Chip Brownie and Chocolate Peanut Butter. The range already included Blueberry, Lemon Cheesecake, Apple Cinnamon and Cookies and Cream flavours.
AdvantEdge Carb Control bars are designed specifically to serve as a between-meal snack for those who wish to avoid excess carbohydrates, EAS said. Each bar is formulated to provide a high-quality, diversified 25 grams of protein to help consumers meet their daily intake goals, along with 26 essential vitamins and minerals. Total calories range from 210 in the Chocolate Chip Brownie to 220 in the Chocolate Peanut Butter.
"AdvantEdge is complete nutrition for your energy needs," said David Lumley, president and CEO of EAS. "While AdvantEdge is one of the country's best-selling lines, these two new flavours give our consumers added variety to their nutritional diet and low carb lifestyle."
AdvantEdge Nutrition Bars are sold in grocery and convenience stores, health and drug stores, mass merchandise outlets, through catalogues and the EAS website.
EAS distributes products domestically and internationally through direct sales and approximately 60,000 retail outlets, and claims that all its supplements are science-based and have been designed to meet the standards of those who are dedicated to fitness, physical conditioning and athletic performance.
