Danish probiotic player expands operations
Private label probiotics specialist Bifodan has upped its production capacity and installed machinery to account for “new product formulations and packaging solutions”.
The Danish firm has registered annual growth of 25% in recent years and specialises in probiotic powders, capsules, tablets and sticks.
“Not only do we experience significant increase in demand from the market when it comes to quality, supply security and reliability; our ambition to offer state-of-the-art, unique and competitive product solutions requires the most advanced manufacturing processes to protect the probiotic bacteria during the process and on the shelves,” said production VP Nancy Eben Fonskov.
