The agreement is the latest one for the Merseyside-based firm, having struck up similar partnerships with professional football clubs such as Tranmere Rovers, Plymouth Argyle and Bristol Rovers.
“Applied Nutrition are delighted to become the Official Sports Nutrition Partner of the Scottish Champions,” says Thomas Ryder, Applied Nutrition’s CEO.
“Rangers are a huge and prestigious club and we’re looking forward to working with the Sports Nutrition team to keep the players fuelled and further develop our offering in the professional sports market.”
As part of the agreement, the club’s stadium and digital platforms will feature the Applied Nutrition brand that includes pre/intra workout blends, weight management and energy gel products.
Salford Red Devils
Along with supplying a host of football clubs with their nutritional needs, Applied Nutrition has also partnered up with the Salford Red Devils rugby league club.
The firm also has ties with the team representing professional boxer Hughie Fury, cousin of British professional boxer and two-time world heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.
“We are delighted to be working alongside Applied Nutrition as we continue to service the individual and collective needs of the squad in order to ensure they are best-prepared to take on every challenge they face this season, adds Rangers’ Head of Performance, Jordan Milsom.
“Once again, we will be dealing with a very congested fixture list, and Applied Nutrition’s products will aid us in the performance and recovery strategies in preparation and following matches.”
