There is still time to register to join representatives from Huel, Alibaba, FourFive, Bulk, Gatorade Sports Science Institute, and more at NutraIngredients’ Sports & Active Nutrition Summit, 5-7th October.

Chaired by Nick Morgan, Director of Sports Integrated, and Nikki Hancocks, Editor of NutraIngredients, this year's Sports & Active Nutrition Summit Europe (SANSE) offers an agenda rich with some of the industry's finest discussing the hottest topics in the industry today.

Hitting the ground running, the agenda for day one will look to provide a portrait of what is happening in sports nutrition, the latest trends, challenges and opportunities facing this space, and the impact this will likely have in the future.

Garyth Stone, managing director of consumer food & retail at the multinational independent investment bank Houlihan Lokey, will open the show by discussing the current appetite for investment, current valuation levels, and the key attributes that investors are looking for.

And offering her insights after a stunning success story in the protein bar category, Juliet Barratt, co-founder of Grenade, will share details of the lessons she's learnt while turning a sports nutrition brand into a mainstream confectionary giant. Specifically, she will discuss the complicated business of capital raises in the current environment and how brands can choose the best advisor.

And taking to the stage from Glanbia Performance Nutrition, Sonja Matthews, senior manager of strategic insights EMEA & ASPAC, will join the event to identify avenues of potential brand and category growth as we look into a period of economic uncertainty.

Joining us from Huel, Rebecca Williams, nutrition manager for the brand, will talk about the emerging category of nutritionally complete food and how it’s never been easier to make healthy, planet-friendly changes to what goes into our bodies.

Michael Mortensen, head of business development at Bodylab.dk, will take to stage as part of a panel discussion looking into financial and supply chain challenges, retail dynamics, innovation trends the future opportunities.

The following days will look to unpack the many factors impacting performance and recovery, the importance of recognising the needs of the female athlete, the many impacts of technology, and some of the most exciting innovations in the industry. The full agenda for days two and three will be unveiled later this week.
