As mushrooms continue to garner interest in the wider wellness category, certain compounds could offer future promise in the edible and topical beauty space, say researchers.
UK-based skin wellness startup Forest Spa Finland has developed a supplement and face serum from a blend of Nordic-sourced adaptogens, both designed to improve overall skin immunity and health from the inside and out, its founder says.
There are plenty of opportunities to address immunity in the beauty and personal care space, particularly in developing active topicals, nutrient-dense ingestibles and combined kits that plug beauty routine needs and target holistic health, says Mintel.
