Soy ingredients supplier Solae is passing on its rising input costs by announcing a global price increases, effective immediately, for all of its ingredients.
US-based Solae has said it will raise prices of its soy protein
ingredients around the world by as much as 30 percent in order for
it to be able to maintain its R&D activities.
Biotech giant Monsanto and soy ingredients supplier Solae are to
develop a new line of soy proteins that they claim will have a
better taste and higher level of solubility than any other soy
protein on the market.
Soy protein giant Solae is building a manufacturing facility in
China in order to tap into the country's huge potential as a major
consumer of soy protein.
Archer Daniels Midland said yesterday that it has acquired Solae's
global soy isoflavone business, including its entire portfolio of
US and foreign patents.
