The US firm Bulu Box is an e-commerce platform that allows shoppers to sample vitamins and supplements through a monthly subscription box and channels “actionable data” back to brands.
Pacer said of the Lincoln-headquartered company: “Bulu Box allows you to try different samples of supplements and provide feedback to the brands in order to earn reward points. These reward points are then accumulated and used towards purchases of the full-sized supplements.”
The company has already secured $5.17m (€4.7m) in funding since it was founded in 2012.
Its co-founder Paul Jarrett is no newbie in the nutrition industry however, working as vice president of marketing and an executive board member for online supplement retailer Complete Nutrition.
