As if you need more convincing, here are a few reasons as to why you must attend the Sports and Active Nutrition Summit Europe (SANSE) 2021, which begins on 12 October – just days away!

1. Content is king!

Building on the success of last year, the virtual environment means we can host content-rich presentations, interviews and panel discussions involving key thought leaders.

Delegates also have the choice of which sessions they wish to attend as well as take part in 1to1 networking, sponsor hubs, live polls and Q&A sessions.

The program for this year event touches on the themes you wanted to hear more about with topics to be discussed include Sports Nutrition 2.0, A state of the Nation, The future of innovation, Opportunities in export, Protecting the gut and Defining Recovery.

2. Presenting the presenters

The worlds of industry, academia and professional sports collide at this year’s SANSE with a line-up of speakers that are at the top of their game.

A complete schedule is now available but to give you a taster, the line-up includes Robert Walker, Head of Business Development and Growth at Aminolabs Group, Jason Rickaby, Co-Founder of HMN24, and Joshua Schall, Owner and President of JS Consulting.

Nutrition in the elite sports arena is well represented with Emma Gardner, Lead Performance Nutritionist for English Institute of Sport, England Men's Cricket and Great Britain Women's Hockey on hand to present.

Also joining the line-up is Mike Naylor, Head of Performance Nutrition at the English Institute of Sport and Consultant Performance Nutrition for The Football Association, Gloucester Rugby’s James Hudson and Hal Robson-Kanu, ex-premier league footballer for West Bromwich Albion and the Wales national team.

3. Diverse & helpful community

Now in its third year, the NutraIngredients team has seen the community grow to become the meeting point for all things sports nutrition related.

This year we’ve optimised the networking opportunities for our delegates. Whether it's taking part in a roundtable discussion and even utilise our matchmaking tool that analyses delegate data to suggest the best people to meet, take your pick.

Our sponsors are a big part of strengthening the connection with key stakeholders in the category so if you get the chance, introduce yourself to Gelita, Agrana, NZMP, Morinaga and Rousselot and forge meaningful connections.

4. Teasing testimonials

We’re always looking for new members to join the sports nutrition community. If you’re not convinced by NutraIngredients’ pitch, here’s a few attendees from past years and their experiences of the Summit:

“Can’t recommend this webinar enough. Really focused and current with great credible experts,” says Beth Berry, Business Development Corodinator at Salutivia.

“Very useful in regard to the statistics. Being aware of the growing interest of the general population in the consumption of supplementation based on the specifications of the microbiota was mind opening,” adds Rene de la O, MD of Kultivus.

“This webinar was very informative and will further help in the persuasion of pre/pro/post biotics’ commercial benefits to our company also helping provide clearer goals for these kind of products in our sports nutrition range,” concludes Siobhan Downing, EU Food Regulatory Officer at The Hut Group.

5. It (might be) free for you!

Finally, we’re offering you the chance to win a free place: Registration is still open for the event, but we’re also offering one lucky reader the chance to win a FREE ticket to SANSE 2021.

To enter for your chance to win, please click HERE. Closing date for the ballot is today (8 October) so hurry! Don't feel lucky? Registerfor the SANSE the old-fashioned way. See you there!
