Following the successful online series in 2020 and 2021, this year’s face-to-face event will take place on 5-7 October at the Amsterdam Marriott Hotel.
The summit will provide a forum for industry and research professionals in the world of sports nutrition to come together to hear and share insights, keep abreast of regulatory changes and learn more about scientific developments in the field.
This year’s speaker line-up will include Garyth Stone from Houlihan Lokey and Karl Bickley from Glanbia Performance Nutrition, with more speakers due to be announced in the coming weeks.
The three-day summit will explore the current state of the industry and its future direction, as well as key developments and innovations in the market. It will cover the topics of fuelling performance and recovery, biological-based nutrition and the female athlete including the challenges they face compared to their male counterparts and sports nutrition in a digital age. Keeping people active is also on the agenda, looking at how to keep athletes training and consumers exercising since it is one of the most important areas for innovation.
As usual, the event is set to provide a combination of content-rich presentations, panel discussions and interviews involving industry thought-leaders and experts in the field. Delegates will have the chance to get involved by taking part in polls and submitting questions to our speakers.
In addition to this, there will be plenty of networking opportunities over the three days, including morning and evening receptions, a roundtable lunch, refreshment breaks and speed networking.
A wellness programme will also be available to help people keep their minds and bodies fit. This will include a range of activities, tips and competitions to ensure everyone stays active. There will also be a 5k run for delegates to take part in.
