Asia-Pacific’s healthy longevity sector is buzzing with activity. In Singapore, multinationals are actively partnering tertiary institutions in advancing scientific research. The National University of Singapore, for example, has set up a clinical trial centre targeted at healthy longevity and geromedicine research, with companies such as Abbott Nutrition, Danone and Haleon on board. Elsewhere in Australia, the Therapeutic Goods Administration (TGA) is one of the few regulators that has approved nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) for use in dietary supplements as recently as last December. As more companies start associating themselves with health span and longevity benefits, the webinar will explore the extent to which the category has progressed across the region, including major research initiatives, regulatory status of ingredients commonly associated with longevity health, consumer trends, and opportunities for new product development.
