Of the two typical agreements in our industry, most parties are driven to execute the Manufacturing and Supply Agreement. While it’s important to establish the commercial aspects of the relationship, Brand Owners are most at risk from the absence of a Quality Agreement. This agreement clearly defines the responsibilities of both the Brand Owner and the Contract Development and Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) for the overall product quality thus allowing the Brand Owner to comply with the cGMP regulations and to market their dietary supplement with confidence.
