A newly published review in Skin Pharmacology and Physiology on Pycnogenol®, French maritime pine bark extract, reveals supplementation was found to inhibit UVA induced upregulation of pigmentation markers by a 50-75% decrease, supporting its ability to reduce hyperpigmentation.
