On 11th May 2026, EFSA officially published a positive scientific opinion on EffePharm’s β-NMN as a novel food. This is the first-ever EU official safety endorsement for NMN. UTHEVER® is the 1st NMN ingredient brand to receive EFSA’s positive opinion.
Next, the EC will draft a regulation for Member State vote based on EFSA’s opinion. Once approved, EffePharm’s NMN will enter the EU Novel Food list. For brands, EFSA’s backing allows confident product development and launch compliant NMN products first.
