Vitamin packs head to developing countries

Naturally Vitamins, a US manufacturer and distributor of nutraceutical products, is to team up with MAP International this holiday season. The company has donated more than $5,000 worth of vitamins and other health supplements to the charity's Travel Pack program.

MAP International's Travel Pack contains an assortment of the most critically needed medicines, vitamins, health supplements and other medical supplies that are the most frequently requested by relief workers in developing countries. It is designed to aid short-term emergency teams, doctors, nurses and/or church mission groups. The Travel Pack can be shipped as one piece of check-in baggage anywhere in the world.

MAP International is a non-profit global relief and development agency. Last year MAP distributed over $100 million in donated medicine and medical supplies to various hospitals, clinics, physician medical missions teams and other health agencies in more than 105 developing countries.
