Toki, said to be the first collagen replacement drink, designed to reduce wrinkles and visible signs of aging hit the US shop shelves recently.

Introduced by US company LaneLabs Toki is a lemon flavoured dietary supplement drink that replaces collagen, the body's production of which slows down after age 30. LaneLabs claims that Toki enables the body to absorb collagen into the bloodstream and delivers it directly to surface skin cells, working below the surface where new skin is constantly forming.

Dr. Jennifer Nissen, who oversees Nutritional Research at LaneLabs stated, " Test results show that collagen levels increase in the blood by up to 114 per cent after 30 days of taking Toki."

The drink is consumed three times daily for a period of 30 days and twice a day thereafter for maintenance. Within two weeks, claims LaneLabs, the skin's moisture levels and elasticity are noticeably improved. After the first month, supple and firm skin are apparent and fine lines and wrinkles are diminished.
