Natural supplement company Schiff is to introduce a new kind of immune support supplement it claims is based on the body's natural antibodies.
The line of beverage mixes and tablets, called Schiff ImmunoLin, is said to work by supplementing a person's own level of immunoglobulins (antibodies), supporting the body's natural defenses and boosting the immune system.
The primary active ingredient is ImmunoLin, which reportedly provides a high level of purified immunoglobulins (IgG), a protein produced by the immune system.
"A variety of factors such as stress and poor nutrition can contribute to a weakened immune system and a drop in immunoglobulin levels," said Dr. Luke Bucci, Ph.D., vice president of research for Schiff. "More than 100 published studies have documented the use of oral immunoglobulins for immune support. Based on this science, the line of Schiff ImmunoLin products is formulated to help people strengthen their natural resistance."
Varieties include lemon-flavoured Extra Strength Drink Mixes in Daytime and Nighttime formulations and Daily Support Tablets.
