US nutraceutical company Baywood International is to expand into the European markets through an exclusive agreement with Vibrant Life.

The agreement with English company Vibrant Life will allow Baywood to market and distribute many of its products in the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, and Scandinavia.

Purchases through Vibrant Life commenced in May 2002 and included many of the Purechoice and Solutions range of products such as Beta-s, Entrox, MSM 1000, Colostrum IgG30, Cal-Mag FIZZ, Fat Eliminator, Carb Eliminator and SuperJoints. Baywood said other products may follow in the near term as further distribution develops.

Baywood vice-president Karl Rullich commented: "This company is in a strong position to provide consumers with a comprehensive range of quality, non-prescription health related products and remain at the forefront of alternative health and medical knowledge in the United Kingdom and Europe.

He added: "Vibrant Life decided to enter into the agreement because of our unique and innovative product lines and we are delighted to work with them so that both of our companies will become key players in the alternative health markets in Europe."

Baywood's products are distributed through independent and chain health food stores, pharmacies, grocery stores, and other direct-to-consumer channels both internationally and domestically. It also sells directly to consumers and to health care practitioners through its wholly-owned subsidiary, EpiPharma.
