Canadian company Kitsune Foods has launched a range of energy-boosting herbal lozenges in four different flavours.

The Extreme Sport lozenges are suitable for sports enthusiasts seeking to boost energy, stamina, endurance and body recovery, said the company. The hard lozenge format is used to deliver a consistent amount of micro-nutrients found in the herbal blend via oral absorption rates - one of the best methods for getting nutrients into the body.

The lozenges are processed by Micro-Nutrient Heat Transfer Technology to gain the full herbal properties.

Atomic Blast contains cinnamon, ginger and ginseng (200mg) and is claimed to be a natural stimulant; Boost Gold uses the Fireball energy gel formula (ginseng and cinnamon); Madness contains 18mg caffeine in each sweet and also guarana and gota kola and Immun-Aid is made with Echinacea and mint to help recovery after intensive training.

The company has also introduced Fireball Energy gels in three variants - PRO, Sprint and Muscle. According to Kitsune, Fireball PRO is a 100 per cent natural non stimulant liquid glucose herbal composition, which most users say clears breathing. It has been used at two Olympic games (legal for competition) and other sports events.

Kitsune Foods nutritional products are currently available in Canada, USA, Australia, UK and Sweden.
