Benecol producer Raisio has announced that its Raisio Nutrition operations have been restructured resulting in the creation of three new 'profit centres' - Food Sales, Production and International Operations - in addition to the existing Feed, Malt and Grain starch businesses.
Head of food sales is Mr Uolevi Nummela, head of production Mr Lauri Laukkanen and head of international operations Mr Kari Körkkö.
The joint services HR, R&D, Marketing, Purchasing and Logistics as well as Financial Administration will support the profit centers, said the company in a statement today.
Meanwhile, the Finnish chemicals and food ingredients company has also announced that the Raisio Group has been selected for membership into the new Kempen/SNS Smaller Europe SRI Index, to be launched today.
69 European companies from 12 countries have been qualified to this index with membership available only to those companies with the very highest standards and practice in the three areas of business ethics, human resources and the environment.
