We are seeking deputy editors for two of our largest news services coveringthe food industry. You will be based in the group's East Coast, USAoffice. Decision News Media is a business-to-business online publisherproviding daily news services to decision-makers in the food, beverage,pharmaceutical, cosmetics and science industries. Every month over 700,000 decision-makers from large companies in more than40 countries worldwide access our online daily news services. We publish 23daily news websites and over 50 e-newsletters. Decision News Media headquarters are based in Montpellier (France), withsubsidiaries in London and New Jersey. You will have several years experience in journalism and cuttings pluspossibly awards that demonstrate your striking potential. Staffappraisals will have emphasized the quality of your work and the unusualspeed at which you learn. In this job you will receive intensive training and grooming by seniorjournalists in an exciting and dynamic newsroom. If you outperform, youwill quickly have the opportunity to run your own news website, with asubscriber base of 30,000 to 80,000. We expect you to win more awards, and gain substantial further audiences- through innovation, analytical skills and a determination to shine. You need not have worked in online journalism before - we consider allthe really essential skills of journalism transferable across all media. Both these posts will be based in the group's East Coast,USA office, after an initial training period at the group's largestnewsroom, in Montpellier, southern France.
