Soft Gel forms partnership to take on Europe
Sochim International, which will allow it to offer a full service
to its European clients - from encapsulation through to finished
product labelling.
The US contract manufacturer, which specialises in soft gelatin encapsulation, has had a European sales office in Israel for the last three year. Its main activity has centred around launching its branded formulas, such as CoQSol (CoQ10), Injuv (hyaluronic acid) and GlucoHelp (banaba leaf). "Many of our clients require the bulk soft gelatin capsules that we manufacture to be bottled, blistered and labelled in Europe," said Roy Bouskila, sales manager Europe. "Because Sochim has all of these packaging capabilities available, [it was] an obvious choice for us to develop a partnership." Bouskila added that Soft Gel expects to benefit from its Milan-based agent's experience and knowledge of the Italian market place. "The presence of a local company enhances the quality of service we can offer our clients." Soft Gel specialises in delivery systems for materials that are hard to encapsulate. The most recent formula to which its technology has been applied is called LyCoQ, a combination of lycopene and CoQ10 aimed at the cardiovascular market.
