Polish company Polpharma Ltd has signed an exclusive agreement with Israel’s Anlit to market the Israeli company’s supplements for toddlers and children in Poland.

The agreement sees Anlit’s Acidolac Junior range marketed in pharmacies across Poland, a country with an established dietary supplements market worth over over €484m in 2008, an increase of 24 per cent from 2007, according to PMR Publications.

“We are convinced that Polpharma, with the firm reputation it built over the decades and its very strong presence in the dietary supplements market, offers added-value products and services; this is an important parameter in choosing a partner to market our products,” says Shai Karlinski, VP Marketing for Anlit.

The Polish market is forecast to expand by 12 to 15 per cent per annum through 2011, according to predictions from PMR.
