Omega-3 giant Ocean Nutrition Canada has donated five million doses of vitamin A to Vitamin Angels, and the company continues its longstanding relationship with the charitable organization.

"Each year, 350,000 children in the developing world are afflicted with blindness as a result of vitamin A deficiency," said Howard Schiffer, president and founder of Vitamin Angels. "Just two doses of vitamin A per year can significantly reduce a child's risk of going blind and reduce mortality rates in at-risk populations by 24%. We're extremely grateful to companies like ONC for making our work possible."

"We're very proud of our work with Vitamin Angels," said Martin Jamieson, president and CEO of Ocean Nutrition Canada. "We're pleased to be able to support the valuable work that Vitamin Angels is doing, on behalf of our employees, families and customers."
