Yoplait: We have not withdrawn probiotic yoghurt health claims
General Mills-owned Yoplait has responded to media reports that it had withdrawn a probiotic health claim submission submitted to the European Food safety Authority (EFSA).
Yoplait spokesperson Virginie Masson said Yoplait had not withdrawn any claims from the system under the European Union nutrition and health claims regulation (NHCR).
“I don’t where this came from but we have not withdrawn any claims because we do not have any claims in the system to withdraw,” Masson said.
