Lord comes from supplements company Natures Aid and will be supported by new vice-chair Robert Taylor from UK supplements giant Vitabiotics.
“One of my key objectives in this new role is to look at how we are able to channel and improve HFMA efforts in vocalising our messages,” Lord said.
“We are also dedicated to continuing to support our membership to the best of our ability and pursue the areas we know will be of most benefit to them in protecting our industry. This includes our vital efforts to explore how we can help manufacturers, brand owners and distributors to have an appropriate regulatory framework to operate within.”
HFMA executive director Graham Keen said Last had been, “a driving force” during his 3-year term.
Last kept the group, “at the centre of the important debates that influence and affect our industry.”
“This work is warmly appreciated and recognised by the HFMA Council, and all those involved within the health food industry. Lynn has previously played a vital role on the Council for the past five years, the last three as vice-chair, and we are very much looking forward to welcoming Lynn to her new role.”
