Dr Barnes’ discusses the science to support the ingredients that can complement and enhance formulations based on calcium and vitamin D.

Dr Egil Greve, CEO of Kappa Bioscience, discusses the bone health opportunities opening up in the vitamin K field. Greve explained why vitamin K2 MK-7 is essential for good bone health, and explains how intake deficiencies in Western markets must be addressed by supplements and food/beverage product manufacturers.

Exploring glucosamine’s potential mechanism of action in maintaining joint health

For joint health, glucosamine is the elephant in the room. However, the scientific evidence to support joint health benefits from oral glucosamine in a healthy population is limited.
