Naturex pays €8.5m for Spanish site
Naturex will pay €8.5m in 2017 to take control of the Valencia, Spain, facility it has been using since buying the ingredients division of Natraceutical in 2009.
Naturex Industrial, as the division is now known, specialises in healthful botanical extracts.
The French firm recently spent €12m upgrading its Avignon HQ in Provence, southern France. After the inauguration of that event in June, CEO Thierry Lambert told us it had expansion plans for its Valencia site, along with its pectin and fruit and vegetable concentrates specialising acquisition of Pektowin in Poland.
