Pro Athlete Supplementation (PAS) has sealed a sponsorship deal with the Wales Deaf Rugby Union.

The partnership means the UK-based sports nutrition specialist firm will supply the Welsh national deaf rugby team with discounted supplements, energy drinks, water bottles and training vests.

“This new partnership will be of huge benefit in the preparation of players before games and will help us in the goal of maintaining our status as the leading nation in deaf rugby,” said team manager, Ben Pritchard.

PAS, which specialises in products for football, rugby, cycling and athletics is also the official supplier for the Welsh Rugby Union, the Football Association of Wales and regional Welsh rugby teams.

“We are delighted to become the official supplier of performance nutrition to Wales Deaf Rugby and helping to support the team so that they are fully prepared for games," said Jon Williams, PAS director and WRU National Squad nutritionist.

"Wales Deaf Rugby will utilise the game day supplements as used by the men’s Welsh senior rugby team to give them the best advantage.”
