The limited-edition supplement, created and distributed by UK-based WeAreFeel, not only contains glitter made from natural acacia gum (arabic gum) but also 18 key vitamins and minerals.
“WeAreFeel strives to be a fun innovative brand, with health and wellness at the forefront of what we do,” said Boris Hodakel, founder of WeAreFeel.
“After we discovered a safe edible formula for glitter we couldn’t wait to apply it to our multivitamins!
‘A glittery toilet’
Being healthy and getting all the nutrients you need shouldn’t be dull and boring, hopefully the prospect of having a glittery toilet will encourage more people to get their daily dose of nutrients!,” he adds.
The product follows hot on the heels of the French firm Lutin Malin, which made available dietary supplements that claim to make flatulence “smell like roses”.
The Paris-based firm behind the pills use charcoal, fenouil, lithothaminne, propolis and dried myrtille in its products to make gaseous emissions smell like either roses, lily, chocolate or violet.
Along with the multivitamin’s use of Arabica gum, the non-toxic glitter combines vitamin A, D3 and folic acid as well as minerals such as magnesium, zinc and iron amongst others. The multivitamins also contain no GMO, anti-adherents, lactose or gluten.
According to the firm’s website, the aim of the multivitamin is to provide the consumer with not only the exact Recommended Dietary Allowances (RDA) of 18 key vitamins and minerals, but also a “mini poop-party.”
“Extensive testing has proven that the glitter is not absorbed by the body, so that toilet-time can really shine,” the firm adds.
Available in 30 capsules (30 servings), the multivitamin Glitter boxes are available on a first-come-first-served basis with only 50 available priced at €13.00.
