Day 1
The first day of the event kicks off with the state of the market to understand the size of the prize, which brands and ingredients are driving sales, and how consumers are navigating the category.
The session will feature presentations and discussions from Ewa Hudson (Lumina Intelligence), Nick Morgan (Nutrition Integrated), Carlos Unamunzaga (Fitoplancton Marino), Sophie Chabloz (Avea), Jack Gayton (The Vitamin Shoppe), Afif Ghannoum (CPG Radar) and Yalda Shokooh (Now Health Group).
We’ll then explore the many hallmarks of aging and hear from experts Dr. Roberto Ripa (Nestlé Institute of Health Science), Dr. Gabriele Civiletto (dsm-firmenich), Dr. Ohad Manor (Thorne), Dr. Rishabh Kala (Estée Lauder), Prof. David Furman (Buck Institute for Research on Aging), Dr. Trygve Bergeland (Balchem), Dr. Lee Chae, (Brightseed), David Foreman RPh (The Herbal Pharmacist) and Prof. David Weinkove (British Society for Research on Aging).
After lunch, we’ll meet the winners of our 2025 Healthspan Innovators, three science-based start-ups seeking to disrupt the category: Henrik Traaholt from CETO3 Omega-11, Dr. Siva Vanapalli from NemaLife and Greg Macpherson from SRW Laboratories.
Day 1 will finish with an extensive exploration of the key bioactives for prolonging healthspan, touching on all the hot ingredients, including nicotinamide riboside, urolithin A, NAC, trigonelline and spermidine, while also considering the importance of many of the keystone ingredients like omega-3s, vitamins and minerals, and herbs.
The session opens with Professor Andrea Maier from the National University of Singapore, a globally recognized expert in aging research, followed by Shawn Wells (Zone Halo Formulations), Anca Vislie (Aker BioMarine), Thomas Beadnall (Aker BioMarine), Aron Erickson (Niagen Bioscience) and Shaheen Majeed (Sabinsa).

Day 2
The second day begins with a breakfast briefing on women’s health, hosted by NutraIngredients and Kerry. NutraIngredients’ Nikki Hancocks and Kerry’s Alexandra Boelrijk will explore the female lifecycle, supported by Lucy Goff from LYMA Life and Alice Ko from Joyance Partners.
The main agenda starts with a session asking if aging starts in the gut and how the microbiome is implicated in healthspan and longevity. Dr. Sean Gibbons from the Institute for Systems Biology in Seattle will introduce the topic and will be followed by presentations by Dr. Gregory Leyer from Synbiotic Health and Dr. Sue Gatenby from PepsiCo. Attendees will also hear from Dr. Caitlin Hall (myota), Linda Neckmar (Novonesis) and Dr. George Zhou (Wecare Probiotics).
With players like L’Oréal and Estée Lauder betting big on longevity and skin, we’ll then turn our attention to the potential for bioactives in the cosmetics field. Caroline Delaunay, L’Oréal’s global head of evaluation intelligence, will open the session.
Dr. Sybille Buchwald-Werner from Newday will share insights from an AI-powered consumer study across key European markets before Kirsty Doolan from CosmeticsDesign moderates a panel featuring L’Oréal’s Delaunay, Dr. Andrew Franklyn-Miller from Nuritas, Dr. Rishabh Kala from Estée Lauder and Dr. Julien Laboureau from Timeline.
The final session will explore how companies like Elysium Health, GNC and Danone Research and Innovation are seizing opportunities in the healthy aging and longevity space. It will also feature a panel discussion on the evolving investment landscape, with insights from Ara Abrahamian (ONCE Ventures), Bart Van Hooland (Thia Ventures), Alice Ko (Joyance Partners), Marta Laorden (McWin Capital Partners) and Marc-Antoine Olive (Feast Ventures).
