The Editors’ Award for Industry Initiative of the Year is judged by the award-winning editors of NutraIngredients’ North American edition.
If your organization has launched a significant initiative to improve quality, transparency, consumer confidence and trust in the dietary supplements’ industry, then we want to hear from you. (Company-centic initiatives do not qualify.)
Our judges will base their decision on evidence for:
- A novel or innovative program, project or platform that increases consumer trust and transparency
- Demonstrable success, including evidence of retailer and consumer interest and any other accolades won
- What gives your initiative the ‘X factor’—how does it move the industry forward
Previous winners of this category include: Women In Nutraceuticals; BAPP Best Practices SOP for the Disposal/ Destruction of Irreparably Defective Articles by the ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program (BAPP); Vitamin D & Me! by the CRN Foundation; NOW publicizing quality concerns about supplements purchased on Amazon by NOW; Label Wise by the Council for Responsible Nutrition; ABC-AHP-NCNPR Botanical Adulterants Prevention Program; and Sabinsa’s Pterocarpus marsupium reforestation program.
Nominations for Editors’ Award for Industry Initiative of the Year or the 15 other awards categories should be submitted ahead of the closing date of Friday, March 20, 2026.
Finalists for most of the categories will be announced in May. Winners will be revealed at a special awards event hosted in Chicago in July on Monday, July 13, 2026.
