Our ingredient categories include beauty from within, botanical, healthspan, microbiome modulation, mind and mood, and sports nutrition.
To qualify for these categories, the ingredient is required to be used in a finished product that is commercially available in the United States.
This category is open to new and old ingredients, but for established ingredients, our judges are looking for evidence of a significant success during the previous 12 months—maybe a new clinical trial opens a new category and market opportunity, or a major brand has included the ingredient for the first time that boosts commercial performance. All information submitted is considered confidential by our judges.
Entries for the awards are welcome across 16 categories, and the closing date for awards entries is Entries close on Friday, March 20, 2026 at 11.55pm CT, Chicago.
Finalists and winners will be honored at a celebration in Chicago on Monday, July 13, 2026.
