The 17 award categories span the Ingredient of the Year, Product of the Year and Specialty Awards.
The awards seek to recognise and reward outstanding nutrition research, nutraceutical products, and functional ingredients that are commercially available in the Asia-Pacific region.
Submissions are now open to ingredients, products or businesses that are active in APAC’s nutraceutical and functional foods and beverages sector.
The last day for entry submission is June 19 (Friday) at 23:55 Singapore time. Submit your entries here.
Early-bird discount
The fee for each entry is US$299, with the exception of the Start-up Award and Editors’ Award for Infant and Child Nutrition Initiative, which are both free-of-charge to enter.
An early-bird discount of US$50 also applies to each entry submitted by April 30.
The entries are judged by an independent panel of industry experts, except for NutraChampion and Editor’s Award, which are judged by the NutraIngredients-Asia editorial team.
The awards ceremony takes place on September 2 (Wednesday) in Bangkok, Thailand.
New award categories for healthspan
As industry and consumer interest in healthspan and longevity are on the rise, this year’s awards include two new categories dedicated to healthspan: Ingredient of the Year: Healthspan and Product of the Year: Healthspan.
The Ingredient of the Year: Healthspan award celebrates outstanding and innovative ingredients designed to extend healthspan—the years lived in good health—by addressing the biological and functional challenges of ageing.
The Product of the Year: Healthspan, on the other hand, will be awarded to impactful branded or own-label supplements, functional foods, and beverages designed to support healthspan.
Products in this category reflect cutting-edge research and consumer demand for proactive, science-backed approaches to aging well.
